Fundraising
Thank you for taking part in this challenge in aid of your chosen charity! Once you’ve registered, you should create your own JustGiving fundraising page using the following links:
If you’re taking part as a team then you can even link your pages together into one team page – you will need to create your individual pages first and then convert one into a team page that everyone else can join. Click here for tips on how to do this.
Fundraising Top Tips
Once your fundraising page is live, here are some tips to maximise your donations for your chosen charity:
- Get creative by adding photos, sharing your story and posting updates as you train and build up to the big day on your page
- Share, share, share – remember, lots of people might mean to donate but might forget so don’t be shy about sharing multiple times and friendly reminders – some ideas of where to share include group chats, social media, colleagues and community groups
- Keep people updated, take pictures, share stories from your chosen charity or tell your own story so your supporters know how you’re getting on
- Hold your own fundraiser to boost your fundraising, how about hosting a quiz with friends and family, hold a bake sale in your workplace or event run a sweepstake on your finish time?!
- Form a team – rather than going it alone, get your friends, family or colleagues involved too and encourage them to share with their networks too.
