Charities

This event is jointly organised by Over The Wall Camp Children’s Charity, Action Medical Research, and Liberty (our generous Lead Sponsor). The event is also directly benefiting The Brain Tumour Charity. Participants can choose to support whichever of the four charities most resonates with their charitable focus, safe in the knowledge that every penny raised will support their chosen cause, with all event costs covered by Liberty.

If this unique urban challenge appeals to you, why not recruit a team of like-minded friends or colleagues and sign up collectively. You can spur each other on when times get tough. All participants can bring up to three spectators to join them at the finishers’ reception, giving you the ultimate base for a London family day out after.

Over The Wall Camp

Owing to long-term health conditions, more than 1 in 10 children in the UK can be denied a carefree childhood, and this number is growing. Over The Wall Camp is a UK based charity for children and young people with health challenges and disabilities to discover a world of mischief and magic. We provide a safe place to step outside of comfort zones, establish friendships and build confidence through meaningful and exciting activities. These amazing experiences are in-person at residential camp, and also available online with Camp in the Cloud. And what’s more, it’s all free!

Action Medical Research For Children

Action Medical Research

Action Medical Research is the leading UK-wide charity dedicated to funding vital research to help sick and disabled babies and children. We have been funding medical breakthroughs since we began in 1952 and almost everyone has been touched in some way by our groundbreaking work like the first UK polio vaccines, ultrasound in pregnancy and the rubella vaccine. The research we have funded has helped save thousands of children’s lives and changed many more.

Felix Project logo

The Felix Project

The Felix Project believes in a vision of a London where good food is never wasted and no-one goes hungry. And together, we believe we can win the fight against food waste and hunger in London. We rescue good, surplus food from the food industry that cannot be sold and would otherwise go to waste and deliver it to hundreds of food banks, charities, primary schools and holiday programmes in London. This is high-quality and nutritious, with the majority being fresh fruit and vegetables. We collect or receive food from hundreds of suppliers, including supermarkets, wholesalers, farms, restaurants, and our food reaches vulnerable children and families, the homeless, the elderly and those who simply cannot afford to buy regular, healthy food.

The Felix Project and FareShare have merged to become the UK's largest food redistribution charity. We have come together to form a bigger and more ambitious organisation with greater national impact.
